Meet the Peoria Rivermen — Central Illinois’ own professional hockey team, a Peoria institution since 1982, and one of JULIE’s favorite community partners.
Based out of Carver Arena in downtown Peoria, the Rivermen have been bringing affordable, family-friendly hockey to Central Illinois for over four decades as a proud member of the Southern Professional Hockey League. We love showing up where Illinois families already are — and this season, JULIE is proud to have a presence at the rink all winter long.
JULIE and the Peoria Rivermen are cut from the same cloth — both deeply committed to the communities they call home, and both always looking for new ways to connect with the families who make Central Illinois great. This season, we’re channeling that shared energy into something worth getting off the couch for.
And the fun doesn’t stop at the arena doors. JULIE is proud to partner with the Rivermen to bring safe digging education directly to Peoria-area families — because whether you’re cheering from the stands or picking up a shovel in the backyard, knowing what’s underground matters.
